Ind. Woman Rebuilds Father's Scrapbook - Video - WLKY Louisville
I just had to share this piece of video. (Click on the link above). It truly is an amazing story. Bless this woman's heart for going through this painstaking process of trying to recover her father's scrapbooks after the horrible tornadoes there. And bless the man in Kentucky that found pieces of the pages from the scrapbooks, 90 miles from where they originated, and took the time to gather them and hold them for her. I hope to never go through anything like this, but I would hope someone would care for what precious memories could be salvaged.
Hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend. I'm hoping I can get back into the groove and do some scrapbooking again. I just have to dive right in and get 'er done!

ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting news story - I always enjoy hearing about men who scrapbook - they most often take a more historical approach - but in the end those pages hold the same kind of family stories, don't they.
