If you haven't heard yet, Shimelle Laine is hosting an online scrapbook weekend event on her blog! Over the three days from April 13-15, she will have tutorials, challenges, guest bloggers and prizes! It is being hosted on her blog here and it's FREE! If you can't join in over those weekend dates, the prize-winning opportunities will be open until April 23. I love Shimelle. She is always such "brilliant fun" and so inspiring. I'm going to join in, and I hope you will too!
I've been keeping busy with a layout a day while working through my Big Picture Classes workshop "28 Sketches". Here are a couple more layouts to share:
Products Used: Patterned Paper:
Digital
Supplies: Tab: Corren Silke – Tot Tab 2 - Journal Card: Karen Grunberg - Hearts: Summer Driggs (Freedom Ain’t
Free-Light Red Star).
I tucked the journaling card underneath the layers of the matted photo. My oldest granddaughters baby layouts are mostly in the 8 1/2 X 11 format, so I stayed with that size. This is what I use to scrap all the time in my early years. Now I have a harder time using that size for some reason. Less space I guess with this format seems to stifle my creativity a bit.
Products
Used: Cardstock: The Paper Co. - Patterned Paper: Dream Street Papers
(Enchanted-Once Upon A Time) - Paint: Apple Barrel (Kelly Green) - Title Letter
Stickers: Making Memories (Boho Chic-Velvet Alphas-Meadow) - Distress Inks: Tim
Holtz Distress Ink & Colorbox (Midnight Black) - Grunge Board Flourishes:
Tim Holtz Idea-ology - Washi Tape: Hambly - Foam Squares: Therm-O-Web - Fiber:
Unknown.
For this layout, I made a little envelope to tuck my three journaling cards into. I realize as I post this, that I will probably add some lettering to the envelope flap to let the reader know the journaling is in the envelope.
Hope you all have a great weekend. Happy Scrapping!

Love both of these layouts and you can see stars in her eyes. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such sweet comments.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I loveeeeeeee that precious photo on the first one!!!
ReplyDeleteAwe....beautiful layouts Debbie. I've never tried scapping on 8.5x11 but I can totally see how it might be harder.
ReplyDeleteLove the sweet little baby layout, such a perfect title. The duck layout is great! Love the picture of you and the DH, and the story is kind of funny...now. :)
