Hello creative friends, how was your weekend? Our weekend was good. We went to see the movie "The Impossible" yesterday. What an amazing true story this movie has behind it.
It follows a family who were on vacation in Thailand when the tsunami hit in 2004 It is a very moving film and it will make you cry. I recommend it as a must see.
Since today is Monday, we have a new sketch at Let's Get Sketchy. 2013 is going to be an awesome year with some of the best sketches yet! Here is this week's sketch by Jenessa Franco:
You have to check out the reveal for Team A using this sketch! Their work is very inspiring! I am on Team B, but I have been trying to do all the sketches for the month that are offered. Here is my take on this week's sketch:
I am so happy to say that 95% of the products used on this layout are older stash and scraps! The background paper is from the 2005 line "Precious Metal" from We R Memory Keepers. I adore these fun photos of our oldest granddaughter. Great memories and good times. Won't you please come and join in on the fun!
Before I go, I want to share a great find I found over the weekend. Have you ever come across an article on the web that you would like to read, but you don't have the time to read it right then? There is a web tool called "Instapaper" that is absolutely nifty. It doesn't cost anything and works fabulously! It's like Pinterest, but it bookmarks the articles for you to read later. Love it!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Hope you find time to get crafty!
