It's Pretty Paper Party time again at Shimelle.com. It first ran in October of 2011 and I loved every minute of the class. Shimelle is offering it up again to alumni and to newbies. If you want to make a large dent in your stash, it's a great class to participate in.
Our first prompt is "Working With Strips Of Scrap Paper". I pulled out my patterned paper scraps and found a few that had similar patterns and colors that could work together.
Here's what I created:
I used 6 different patterned paper strips on this layout. Since the background cardstock is cream, I looked for cream based patterned papers. I used We R Memory Keepers, Lily Bee Designs, Creative Imaginations, My Mind's Eye, and Bo Bunny papers. Really simple and quite a few scraps used. Love it!
Pull out your scraps this week and create something fun! Have a good one and keep scrappin' . . . . one layout at a time!

Love it! And I love Pretty Paper Party-lovved it first time, loving it again!

I love that you mixed all the different papers and made it look like they were made to go together! Great (and so sweet) layout! I am taking Shimelle's PPP too, for the first time. I have been reading the prompts, but haven't done any of them. I have, however, finished two layouts using Shimelle's sketches this weekend. :)
