New Sketch and eBook Giveaway!

Good Monday Morning! I have a couple of things that are on the top of my list to share with you today! First things first, it's a new reveal day at Let's Get Sketchy! Here's the sketch created by our Design Team leader Brenshevia:

Here is my layout that I created using the sketch:

Because my granddaughter was facing slightly to the right, I moved the main elements over to the left hand side of my layout, and moved the banner to the right. I kept the embellishments in the same place as shown in the sketch. This is an awesome sketch, and so easily adaptable! I used the KaiserCraft/Pickled Pear collection for this layout. I'm really happy with the way the layout turned out. We at Let's Get Sketchy would love for you to come and join us and share your work.

Do you remember in 2012, all the layouts I shared that I created for Stacy Julian's class "Twelve" at Big Picture Classes? We spent the entire year with Stacy exploring twelve topics that inspired us to tell  more meaningful stories on our scrapbook layouts. I loved the class and gained so much inspiration and insight from Stacy. Now you also can learn the strategies we used, in Stacy's new eBook "Storytelling Strategies".

About the ebook:

Stacy started her journey by choosing 12 key storytelling topics. Then she set an intention, (and set up a process!), to make storytelling a part of her daily life. In the end, she completed 144 story-rich layouts in just 12 months--one layout for each of her 12 storytelling categories every single month. Those categories are: You, Holidays, Places, Everyday Life, Rituals, People, Personality, Things, Family Stories, Seasons, Fun and Inspiration.

Now it's your turn! Let Stacy guide you through your own authentic storytelling process, so you too can discover and share important stories from your unique life. You can find the eBook here at a great introductory price.

Also, a very Special Offer for my "Telling Our Story" readers: Save 25% on one or all three of Stacy Julian's other eBooks with the promo code: scrapwithstacy (code expires 4/30/13)

Photo Freedom: 132 pages for $15.99
UR2 Cre8ive: 68 playful ways to unleash your creativity - 24 pages for $5.99
20 Simple Secrets of Happy Scrapbookers: 26 pages for $5.99

I am absolutely excited to tell you that one of my layouts was chosen to be included in the "Storytelling Strategies" eBook! (you can find the layout that was chosen here on my blog). And more exciting, is that I get to give away a free copy of "Storytelling Strategies" to one of my readers! All you need to do is leave a comment on this post, telling me why you would like to win a copy of Stacy's awesome eBook for yourself. The giveaway will stay open until midnight Friday February 8th. I will announce the winner on Monday February 11th.

Good luck and Happy Scrappin'!
