I chose to do a Christmas layout, but you could certainly use these colors for many other topics. Here's what I created:
In keeping with the white space challenge, I tightened up the elements and kept them a bit smaller than the sketch depicted. I was finally "encouraged" by the color combo challenge to dig into my stash of Christmas product and finally put it to good use. There are three different My Mind's Eye Christmas collections used on my layout! I'm in love with this layout showcasing my son's first Christmas portraits. That was such a lifetime away! *sigh*
I hope you will join in with me on both of these awesome challenges! Take some time to get crafty!
Happy scrappin'!

HAHAHAHAHA...I love your title for this post, totally made me laugh out loud. And that layout? Girl you rocked it in every way. I love the white space (shocker, I know, lol), and those sweet photos, and the understated way you used the xmas papers, all such a delight to my eyes. Love seeing you grow girl!

ReplyDeleteLOVE this layout! I really like how the layered circles softens the straight edges and compliments the sweet baby photos! Great composition and I love that gingerbread accent. Gorgeous work! :)
ReplyDelete...upon closer inspection I noticed it wasn't a gingerbread but a Christmas bear! LOL! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove it...white space is hard for me. I love the look but have a hard time doing it for my own pages. Such a sweet focal point with photo and elements. Another wonderful page.
