Christmas In March With White Space???

Hi ya'll, I have a layout to share today. I used this week's sketch from Let's Get Sketchy which included a color combo challenge. I'm also joining in at Use Your Stuff for Challenge #74-Embracing White Space. I love how the design keeps all the elements gathered  to one side of the page. Here's the sketch and the color combo:

I chose to do a Christmas layout, but you could certainly use these colors for many other topics. Here's what I created:

In keeping with the white space challenge, I tightened up the elements and kept them a bit smaller than the sketch depicted. I was finally "encouraged" by the color combo challenge to dig into my stash of Christmas product and finally put it to good use.  There are three different My Mind's Eye Christmas collections used on my layout! I'm in love with this layout showcasing my son's first Christmas portraits. That was such a lifetime away!  *sigh*
