If your looking for the Sketch N Scrap Holiday Blog Hop, you can find it here.
Today I am sharing a blog series that I am starting entitled "Scrap It, Or Scrap It?" I will share a layout I've created using one product that I have had in my stash for awhile, (Scrap It). If I can't motivate myself or be inspired to use it, I'm going to Scrap It, (donate or throw it away). Today's product is the Tim Holtz Fragments.
Honestly, I have no idea why I purchased these. Maybe they were on sale. I looked up on the internet some fun ways to use them, but quite honestly nothing really inspired me. But I let the ideas ruminate around in my brain for a bit and finally about the time I had thought I would just scrap them, (get rid of), I decided to give this idea a shot.
I took some older pool photos and punched them into squares. Then I adhered the Fragments to the photos and some patterned papers with Glossy Accents. Once I got them arranged on my background patterned paper, I looked for some embellishments in my color drawer.
Chipboard Embellishments: Bella Blvd
Ribbon & Stamps: Making Memories
Glitter Border Sticker: KI Memories
Chipboard Letter Stickers: K&Co.
And here's my completed layout:
It weighs a bit more than most of my layouts, but I'm happy with the way it turned out. It was fun putting it together.
If you've got Tim Holtz Fragments in your stash, decide to use them on something very soon. They would make awesome little magnets. If you do create something with them, link up your blog post or gallery entry in a comment on this blog post, and I will share your project on my blog.
Have a great weekend, and happy scrapping!
